Class of 2006 Scholarship
The Story
Several of your classmates have gotten together and established the Class of 2006 Scholarship to help UD students in financial need obtain this life-changing education that you all received — not to mention the deep friendships that have endured to this day.
The Class of 2006 Scholarship will provide students financial support through all four years of their undergraduate program, and as an endowed scholarship, will exist in perpetuity and benefit future generations of UD students.. The scholarship has already been awarded this year, and we would like this impact to grow.
The Impact
Ashley Hall, a sophomore biology major, received financial support from the Class of 2006 Scholarship this year!
"I chose to attend the University of Dallas because of the wide variety of subjects I can cover. The Core Curriculum will make me a full person and award me with knowledge and understanding to incorporate into my future career. Receiving new tools from the Core Curriculum will allow the simple parts of biology, such as studying, performing labs and writing papers, to come more naturally. Having a foundation on the ability to connect subjects will overall make me a better biology major and, one day, a better dentist. I am most looking forward to being surrounded by students who all are working toward their full potential and the accountability that provides. Thank you so much for your generous donation that will help me pursue a higher level education."
The Goal
The scholarship is already established, so why give?
This is your opportunity to be a part of a student’s transformational journey at UD.
The greater the participation, the greater the impact. Our goal is to reach a 20% participation rate (43 individuals) by May 31, 2024. That is only 43 individuals!
PS - Married UD couples count as two, not one household.
